A Tail of Political Correctness

NYC eatery grants freedom to lobster centenarian
A 140-year-old lobster once destined for a dinner plate received the gift of life Friday from a Park Avenue seafood restaurant.
"Gift of life". I thought it was already alive
PETA spokesman Michael McGraw said the group asked City Crab to return George to the Atlantic Ocean after a diner saw him at the restaurant, where steamed Maine lobster sells for $27 per pound.
What's a PETA vegan doing in a seafood restaurant? Something is fishy here.
George had been caught off Newfoundland, Canada and lived in the tank for about 10 days before his release.
140 years old is just a guess. They really have no clue. He could'a just been a big adolescent lobster.
He was to be released Saturday near Kennebunkport, Maine, in an area where lobster trapping is forbidden.
I'm waiting for the follow-up article about the giant lobster killed by angry female lobster after being released into it's territory.
